7 reasons why Jeff Goldblum is the steeziest man in Hollywood

Life, uhhh, finds a way

Move over Shia LaBeouf and Jonah Hill, there's a new streetwear king in town...

Everyone knows and loves Jeff Goldblum. He is a ray of sunshine in this terrifying world. He is an angel in human form saving us from the hellscape that is Hollywood. He is everyone’s favourite uncle. And even if you don’t know any Jeff Goldblum films (which is really embarrassing tbh, because, well, Jurassic Park!), you'll probably recognise him as a walking meme. In fact,  his meme status is so great that many people haven't realised that Jeff Goldblum is actually the steeziest man in Hollywood.

Although he’s always been a bit of a heart-throb for the alternative crowd, Jeff (and I feel I can call him Jeff) has only just started to break into the fashion game properly (with the help of his personal stylist Andrew T. Vottero). His effortlessly cool mix of high fashion, crazy patterns and on-point streetwear has started to turn the heads of fashionistas and gain him the OG status he deserves. Here are some of his best fashion moments so far…

1. When he rocked THE Prada shirt

Recently this photo of Jeff rocking a clashing pattern bowling shirt from Prada’s AW18 collection went viral, elevating him to the status of Streetwear Lord and Fashion Killer. Look how effortlessly cool he looks. Bask in his steeze. What makes this even better is that quite a few highly influential people (Pusha T and 032c’s Marc Goehring, for example) were spotted wearing the same shirt, but it was all for nothing, as #jeffgoldblumworeitbetter

2. When he was the only person ever to look good in Balenciaga Tripe S’s

I have seen this shoe countless times, and everything single time a part of me dies. I hate them. I hate them with a burning passion. I hate them more than I love anything in this world. And yet, on my best friend Jeff, they’re the nicest shoe ever. And pairing them with a $980 Prada trousers? Straight up, power move.

3. When he covered GQ wearing short shorts

Come one, who else do you know with this much sauce? There’s no contest...

4. When he “came through drippin’”

Typically it’s rappers and rock stars who are seen sporting more rings than fingers, but Jeff isn’t afraid to adopt new styles and try something different. Jewellery can make or break an outfit, and in this case it definitely makes it. And if this fit didn’t solidify him as the industries steeziest man, tagging Cardi B and Offset in the caption certainly does.

5. When he went clothes shopping with Kyle Ng

Kyle Ng is the co-founder of Brain Dead, one of the hottest and most experimental streetwear brands around at the moment, and here they are just shopping together like best friends. This video is great because you really get to see Jeff’s taste explored a bit more. He really cares about the story behind the clothing, which is where true steeze comes from. Also, his house! His fucking house! The man is too cool...

6. When he went full on jazzzzz

Have we mentioned that Jeff's in a jazz band - The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra - and is currently recording his first jazz album? No? Well he is - of course! Although Jeff credits his stylist, Andrew Vottero, for his fashion "growth-spurt," the reason his looks work so well is because Jeff can pull them off. Clothes can only get you so far, and it's Jeff's natural and authentic style and charisma that bring his looks together - something Andrew recently acknowledge on his Instagram when he captioned this jazzy outfit, " Disclaimer: not everyone is cool enough to wear this". We hear you, Andrew...

7. When we got a close up look at his shoe game

Jeff is clearly a man of taste, that’s been established, but his shoe games proves it. When he’s not rocking my new favourite shoe ever, he’s contemplating the pros and cons of a seriously classy wingtip over a suave loafer. Even if he couldn’t decide and rocked odd shoes it wouldn’t matter, but he’s just that steezy.
