Loan Day is the pinnacle of the student calendar. You forget it’s coming, then everyone gets the Student Finance England text in one go, and shit hits the fan. Immediately you start spending the money in your head - clothes, trainers, proper food, and a few nights out and trips to Taka Taka are all for the taking.
When the loan drops, Clifton and Stoke Bishop will be blowing up with tickets going for a few quid more than they should - but who gives a shit? It’s Loan Day! This is the time to party! Easy People with Big Miz at The Crofter's Rights - Wednesday 18th April
The Crofter’s Rights is always a funny one, with the weird tiered seating and the spiral staircase. Besides this it’s a sick venue, and well worth braving the people of Stokes Croft on a Thursday night, especially with Big Miz on the lineup (he did Boiler Room).
