Netflix's Evil Genius is the new Making a Murderer - here's everything you NTK

It's twisted, horrific and all TRUE!

Netflix's Evil Genius will tick all your real crime boxes...

Fans of true crime stories rejoice - Netflix is dropping an original documentary about one of the most bizarre American crimes EVER.

Their newest true crime documentary, Evil Genius: The True Story of America's Most Diabolical Bank Heist, drops tomorrow and focuses on the bizarre (and horrifying) Pizza Bomber case that baffled America in the early noughties.

Here's everything you need to know about the next Making a Murderer...

What's Evil Genius about? (SPOILERS AHEAD!!!)

The story begins with Brian Wells, who was a pizza delivery man from a small town in Pennsylvania.

The story goes that on 28th August 2003, Wells was kidnapped and fitted with a homemade explosive device while out on a delivery. He was then instructed to rob a nearby bank, and told to follow a set of cryptic clues in order to get the bomb removed from around his neck.

Unsurprisingly, things didn't go too smoothly.

Wells managed to rob the bank, but ended up being blown up during a stand-off with some very confused local police (who couldn't work out if Wells was genuinely an innocent victim or a twisted mastermind).

What ensued was lengthy FBI investigation that aimed to determine - Who was behind the plot? What the aim was of the twisted heist? And was Wells involved in the plot or, indeed, an innocent victim?

Needless to say the whole thing is mindbogglingly complex, totally horrific, and a must-watch for all true crime fiends.
