Steal His Style: Tanner Reese

Steal His Style: Tanner Reese

Classic menswear with a modern twist

Looking for some autumn style inspo? Well look no further than Tanner Reese. Here's how you can steal his edgy take on menswear...

Here at SHS we're always style crushing on someone, and this month it's model/influencer Tanner Reese.

Tanner pairs more traditional menswear items (think smart trousers and blazers) with more laidback pieces like graphic tees, beanies and statement shirts to create a really modern and sophisticated - yet very wearable - take on menswear.

Here’s how you can get Tanner's look for yourself...

Stealth mode

Why we love it: Camo print is hardly a new trend, but this season's new take on it is woodland camo. High end streetwear brands such as Supreme and Stussy have featured the trend in their AW18 collections, as has SHS brand Basment Six (and their price points are a little less eye-watering)...

Beanie baby

Why we love it: Now the colder weather's arrived, a good beanie hat's a must have. Take a style note from Tanner and ditch the safe colours (black, grey and navy) in favour for an on-trend statement shade like rust orange, forest green, mustard or deep red.

Winter florals

Why we love it: Just because summer is over doesn’t mean you have to drop the floral prints. Abstract florals in deep, muted tones are a great way to ad a touch of fun to your AW wardrobe.

Low-key jewellery

Why we love it: We've said it before and we'll say it again, more men need to get into jewellery! If you're new to the trend, Tanner's simple, low-key approach - a simple, discreet earring and two regular statement rings on rotation - is a great way to get on-board.

Harvest chic

Why we love it: Another 'tricky trend' I recently tested and am now fully on-board with (read all about it here!) are dungarees for men. Unlike Tanner, personally I'd always recommend wearing a top with them (over or under, the choice is yours!), and I can confirm they're incredibly comfy too.
