What people were wearing at the Kwaleö & Not Just Another Store self-confidence round table

Fashion inspo 4 days

Last night Kwaleö and Not Just Another Store teamed up for a pop-up event celebrating fashion, creativity and self-confidence. We went down to get inspired... and see what everyone was wearing!

Part exhibition, part motivational talk, Kwaleo & Not Just Another Store's round table on The Journey Towards Self-Confidence centred around a discussion from an esteemed panel of speakers, including fashion based multi-hyphenates Marques Emmanuel and Jourdan Riane, body positivity influencer Lauren Talulah and influencer/model Amanda Char.

As well as being an evening celebrating self-confidence, it was also a perfect opportunity for East London's creatives to get together and celebrate their mutual love of fashion and clothing... and maybe flex a little.

Everyone looked amazing, but here are some of our favourite outfits from the evening...

Name: Monica

Job: Retail Assistant

IG: @_ka.mo

Why we love it: This jacket is crazy! We were all set to cop one ourselves, but sadly it's custom. Devastated tbh.

Names: Alex and Daniel

Jobs: Menswear designer and model

IG: @alexmartirossian and @ddesms

Why we love it: There's so much to love with both these fits; Alex's custom jeans are amazing and pair so well with his Jordan IV's, and we love Daniel's mix of streetwear and high fashion. Both are very strong looks.

Name: Rūta

Job: Retail manager

IG: @rutaskemaite

Why we love it: This look is a masterclass in clean lines and simplicity, and the metallic shoes set it all off perfectly.

Name: Marques

Jobs: Model/Influencer/Actor

IG: @ma.rgues

Why we love it: Four words: pastel colour double denim 💥

Name: Ashden

Job: Rapper/musician

IG: @ashdensworld

Why we love it: Carhartt overalls will never go out of style, and it's always great to see them being worn so well. We're big fans of this simple-yet-steezy outfit.

Name: Hanna

Job: Barista/musician

IG: @joko_hard

Why we love it: Hanna has paired some vintage and custom pieces with high street clothing really well, we love the clashing animal patterns. Proof that sometimes, more is more.
