Why we're loving Anjelica's unique sketches

She’s made herself noticed with her illustrations of designs featured at London Fashion Week and by Marc Jacobs. She has attracted thousands of Instagram followers and has had personal Twitter shoutouts from the likes of Jeremy Scott. With an incredible body of work characterised by a sparing fine line and vibrant splashes of colour, it’s easy to see why Anjelica Roselyn’s sketches and designs are considered works of art in their own right.

Using inks, oil pastels and copic markers to let her creative flair run wild, Anjelica has produced drawings which are both idiosyncratic and inspiring. She depicts tall, angular women swathed in huge bright garments, colours popping all over the place. Her drawing of Pat McGrath’s make-up for Prada has the unashamed boldness of a drag queen, yet the delicacy and sophistication of someone truly anchored in the world of high-end fashion – a knack which she extends to the rest of her work.
